Atty. Castaneda wins a removal case against an individual who had a prior criminal sex offense conviction
On October 7, 2009, Atty. Castaneda successfully defended an individual who was placed on removal proceedings due to a prior criminal conviction. Atty. Castaneda submitted to the court a response to the Department of Homeland Security's brief supporting removability. Based on written motions by Atty. Castaneda, the court affirmed her motion to terminate removal proceeding forthwith. No further hearings were required.
