Atty. Castañeda wins a motion to suppress all evidence based on illegal detention of her client. Due to Atty. Castañeda’s effective cross examination of the police officer, she was able to prove to the court that the police officer failed to have probable cause to stop her client and that no consensual encounter occurred. Based on the motion being granted, the district attorney dismissed the case which was her client’s second D.U.I. Her client’s probation was reinstated with no additional terms or jail time imposed.
